Freedom

It's been about two weeks since we officially closed the chapter on the old apartment and I feel oh so relieved. The reason being is that I am finally free, not only from the issues with the old apartment, but also from all the clutter we accumulated over the years. Although we moved out , we didn't take everything with us.

There was so much to be rid of. I had to post & sell many items, and donate so much more. Two coffee machines? We now have one. Laptop pile for the someday? Goodbye. What the hell is this cable for? Who cares, really. Griddle BBQ that makes excellent smash burgers? Let someone else love you, dear object.

Sadly, there is still so much piled up in our storage unit (turns out, it's rather hard to sell an air conditioner in the winter). I aim to get half of it gone by spring and leave the spring cleaning for my filesystem.

I really would love to adopt minimalism; It'd be so wonderful to live a life riding the rails of Europe/Asia with nothing but my phone & a GPD Pocket 3 -- oh, and my lovely family, of course!
